The warranty prolongs the existing warranty period of one year, and covers the Genesis, Polaris, Rebel and Eclipse lamps purchased after October 1, 2013.

NLT said that, with warranties serving a full two years, mining operators can have greater peace of mind and protection of their investment.

“Ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service and support after they have purchased our products is of the utmost importance,” NLT president Heidi Levitt said.

“Some of our customers, especially those with larger mining operations, want the extra protection of an extended warranty period.”

NLT has locations in Canada, Australia and Chile and provides its product line, which also includes communications for mining and tunneling, worldwide.
