Longwall summit set for June

THE annual AJM's Longwall Mining Summit is back at Yeppoon for its tenth year.

Staff Reporter

This year’s conference will take place June 19-21 in Queensland at the Rydges Capricorn Resort, Yeppoon, where most of the previous conferences have been held.

Organisers said over the last ten years 200 speakers, 1500 delegates and many exhibitors and sponsors had participated in the event, providing a platform for debate for Australia's leading export sector.

“Come to Yeppoon to discuss the successes and the current challenges facing the longwall operators in 2006, and hear how the industry is making the most of this booming market,” organisers said.

Those interested in presenting papers are invited to contact organisers at Diana.lauzi@informa.com.au
