Ampcontrol expands Tomago base

WITH the help of funding from the New South Wales Government, Ampcontrol has announced its Tomago...

More than 90 jobs will be created in the expansion that will involve a new transformers facility and new corporate office.

Work is expected to begin early next year and be completed by mid-2009 and will increase Ampcontrol's factory space from 15,000 square metres to 35,000sq.m.

The expansion was made possible by funding from the Department of State and Regional Development's Hunter Advantage Fund and is part of Ampcontrol's strategy to grow and diversify the business domestically and globally.
