SCS are a market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of steel strata support consumables in the Australasian hard rock mining and tunneling industries. The SCS acquisition greatly compliments Minova, the world’s leader in chemical strata support products and systems.

The combined product range and technical capacity of Minova and SCS will enhance the development and introduction of new technology into the Australian coal and metal mining industries. Both companies are renowned for their technical and new product development expertise.

Minova manufactures, supplies, and installs Australia’s leading range of underground ventilation control devices and strata support products. Direct supply of these products and services to the mining and tunneling industries is provided from manufacturing, warehouse and workshop facilities located in New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.

Minova has been Australian mining’s most reliable provider of high quality chemical strata support products and ventilation control devices through the highs and lows experienced in the industry over the last 3 decades.

QME 2008 will showcase the extended range of products and systems available from Minova and SCS. In addition to the strata support products, Minova also provides an extensive range of specially developed grouts and injection systems, ventilation products, and our newest product line, dust suppression.

Minova’s RD10 dust suppression product has been successfully used to provide dust suppression and water usage reduction benefits to Australian mine sites, particularly those with limited water resource.

The company’s Australian workforce consists of highly experienced and qualified personnel, in areas of underground mining, engineering, chemistry, OH&S, sales and service, manufacturing, and supply and logistics. With over 30 years of proven historical performance in all major underground mining regions of the world, Minova’s leading technology and emergency response service is available 24 hours per day, every day.

A particularly important area of Minova Australia’s business is the specialised services provided in the areas of emergency response, secondary support, and all aspects of VCD installation. The Minova Company can provide the most specialised application services available for their entire range of products and systems supplied to the mining industry.

All areas of the Minova Company will be represented at QME, providing assistance with product and application information, and offering careers information in the multitude of areas available within the company operations.
