The AFC, scheduled for delivery in April 2002, includes a 230m face with drive frames and Class 45 CSTs with twin 42 mm chain and flights.

The pans are PF4 V2000 1032 fitted with an Eickotrack haulage system. The tailgate drive is telescopic and the CSTs will be driven by the existing colliery supplied motors.

This follows the recent delivery by DBT of a new skid type longwall boot end to Central in July.
