A successful listed gold company enjoying rapid growth currently seeks to appoint a General Manager - Exploration. The group's current portfolio includes a small, high margin asset and promising advanced greenfields projects in BFS. With strong cash flows and outstanding institutional and investor support, the company is looking to undertake substantial project acquisitions in the Australian gold industry.
Reporting to the MD, as GM Exploration you will be responsible for developing & executing the group exploration strategy, mentoring and training the exploration staff across the business, driving business development including project generation & due diligence, compliance & reporting and much more.
Based in Perth, this role will typically operate on a Monday-Friday basis with ad hoc domestic and international travel. An attractive remuneration package (TFR circa $255K-300K incl super) plus lucrative incentives is provided. This is a rare opportunity to join a rapidly expanding gold company on the acquisition trail and manage group-wide exploration strategy.
As the ideal candidate, you will possess a successful track record of exploration management within the Australian gold industry including extensive experience managing large teams and driving business development.
