Mixed results from mixed metal dust tests

DESPITE glasshouse pot trials of mixed metal dust recovered from recycled alkaline batteries on wheat showing slower rates of uptake of zinc and manganese from the MMD compared to fertiliser-grade sulphate products, Lithium Australia will move to the next stage of assessment as the company looks at using recovered zinc and manganese as micro-nutrient supplements in fertilisers.
