Located just 10km from Kalgoorlie's famous Super Pit, Boorara has a mineral resource estimate of 16.45 million tonnes grading 0.96 grams per tonne gold for 507,000 ounces, spread over three project areas at the Royal, Crown Jewel and Regal deposits.
In the latest campaign 28,410t was milled at a reconciled grade of 0.94gpt gold for 781oz, at a recovery of 91%.
Horizon processed a total of 98,121t in the two campaigns, at an average grade of 0.93gpt gold and 90.2% recovery.
After deducting costs and paying Lakewood's owner its share, Horizon netted about $1.35 million.
Horizon managing director Jon Price said ore grade reconciled 9% above the mine claimed grade, which provided further valuable geological information on grade allocation processes.
He said gravity recovery was again high at 35%, with reagent consumption and throughput rates in line with expectation.
"The toll milling campaigns have provided both cash flow and invaluable geological and metallurgical reconciliation information improving our confidence in the current model for Boorara," Price said.
"Given our close proximity to existing infrastructure in the Kalgoorlie region, we will continue to pursue production and cash generation opportunities from our asset base in parallel with the largescale new discovery and project generation exploration programs planned for 2022."
