ASIA-Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition is set to showcase some of the newest innovations and cost-saving technologies to come to the mining industry as part of its 2015 demonstration and seminar program.

The four-day event will deliver some of the newest insights and developments in the mining industry and will feature a number of companies and offerings through its demonstration and seminar program.

Collision avoidance and fatigue monitoring systems will be one focus of the program with APAC business development manager Graeme Corbett presenting on the area.

As SAFEmine’s general manager Australia, Corbett will touch on the fact that two thirds of traffic accidents are due to driver fatigue and how SAFEmine’s FatigueMonitor solution combines data from fatigue protection and collision avoidance to minimise accidents.

Hitachi general manager mining Eric Green will also talk about supporting innovation and technology in the mining sector and how Hitachi are committed to providing benefits through converging the latest high efficiency machinery.

Live demonstrations for the latest on machinery automation and robotics, remote control operation systems for rock-breaker boom systems (Transmin), cleaning (Flexco), LED lights (Hella) and maintenance and repair (Transmin, Loctite) will also be provided throughout the conference.

AIMEX 2015 will be held from September 1 to 4 at the Sydney Showgrounds, Olympic Park.
