Adani drops Downer

DOWNER is down about $2.7 billion in work it had hoped to clinch for Adani Mining’s controversial Carmichael coal mine with the Indian company deciding to progress the mine as an owner operator.

In an announcement to the Australian Securities Exchange Downer said Adani and Downer had “mutually agreed to cancel all Letters of Award relating to the mine services and the related infrastructure”....
