On the ground at Mt Celia surface and mine infrastructure works are well advanced following the start of pre-stripping, to ready for the start of mining in the Blue Peter pit in the coming weeks.

The November 5 groundbreaking ceremony was a high-powered affair attended by Indian government representatives and India's Consul General in Perth.
Legacy chief executive officer Rakesh Gupta said the event marked a significant achievement in the evolution of Legacy Iron from an explorer to a producer, as the company unlocked the potential value of the greater South Laverton gold project.
Gupta said the mine's opening came after the receipt of all final statutory approvals and the signing of a mining contract with Bain Global Resources.
He said the asset would generate revenue to fund ongoing exploration at the prospective South Laverton project, as the company planned to bring more resources to a mine-ready stage.
