A CONFERENCE to be held in June in Sydney is set to look at the economics and technical viability...

Topics to be covered include a review of the global markets; issues impacting coal seam methane development in Australia; regulating and promoting exploration of CSM; and others.

While the first day focuses on issues related to exploring for CSM and developing commercial distribution, Day 2 (June 26) includes several papers of interest to longwall mines interested in utilising their mine methane.
