The company entered into an exclusive option agreement to acquire Flexidrill in 2018.
Corevibe uses high frequency energy pulse assisted drilling for wireline coring.
It is expected to provide a significant advance in core drilling productivity.
According to Imdex it can deliver significant client benefits including penetration rates up to 90% higher in hard rock; no increase in hole deviation; fewer inner tube blockages and associated tripping; and optimised drill bit life.
Maghammer uses a hybrid drilling technique that combines rotary diamond drilling with fluid-driven percussive drilling to achieve higher penetration rates compared with conventional coring.
The technology enables an entire drill hole to be completed with a coring rig where reverse circulation and diamond drilling is required.
The first iteration of Maghammer will be targeting high speed pre-collar drilling through barren rock to the coring zone.
Imdex managing director Bernie Ridgeway said Flexidrill was an excellent strategic fit.
"We are confident these new technologies will provide substantial benefit to our clients within the minerals industry and significant revenue and earnings for Imdex," he said.
