While all Nu-Lec Industries staff were retained in similar positions, Bruce Higginson, i.Power Solutions' automation and services manager, said that the latest appointments reflect a new management structure which is closely aligned with the company's core competencies.
"The new structure will enable the company to grow its existing business and target new markets.
"The two divisions, which both possessed niche market experience and a proven track record in their respective areas have pooled their resources to offer the market a complete suite of engineered electrical products and services from under one roof. Our business comprises seven key areas of operation: MV & LV switchgear; mining substations; switchrooms; automation and control; SCADA; information systems and turnkey projects," Higginson said.
Joachim Gildner has been appointed switchgear manager, responsible for overseeing switchgear design and sales throughout the globe and the research and development of switchgear products. Gildner, with over 25 years experience in switchgear design and project management, will be supported by switchgear sales manager Mark Brown.
John Edwards has been appointed business information systems manager, responsible for the development of the company’s information systems products and services and ensuring the successful completion of major IT projects. Edwards has over 13 years experience in SCADA and automation solutions and will work closely alongside Bruce Higginson who has been appointed Automation & Services Manager.
With over 25 years experience in the provision of SCADA, and automation and control solutions for utility, manufacturing, mining and processing companies, Higginson will be responsible for overseeing control and automation infrastructure projects and systems product development.
Tony Muguira has been appointed engineering manager, responsible for overseeing automation solutions and turnkey electrical engineering projects. Muguira has over 20 years experience in providing electrical engineering solutions to industry and has worked for major resource companies in design, operations and commercial roles.
Tim Haight has been appointed marketing manager, responsible for the group’s marketing efforts in Australia, South East Asia and the Americas. Haight has over 20 years experience in the electrical and controls industry moving into a marketing role only a few years ago.
Nick Burton has been appointed finance manager. In this position, he will be responsible for all finance, accounting, tax and commercial aspects of the business. Burton's extensive experience has been gained in a variety of financial and commercial roles spanning 15 years.
