With the new VEEMET ROPE SHOVELS system, MTG is introducing a new GET solution especially dedicated to rope shovels. As a new generation tooth system and successor of the STARMET ROPE SHOVELS system, its development is based on more than 20 years of field experience that have been used to implement lots of optimizations and improvements to the new VEEMET ROPE SHOVELS system.

The entire tooth adapter kit as well as its individual components have been developed with a special focus on a streamline design for utmost penetration and resistance. Thanks to its improved stability, optimized locking, and enhanced penetration capabilities, VEEMET ROPE SHOVELS provides even better productivity, more reliability, and easier change-outs than its predecessor system.

Among many new features, there are three key USPs: a brand new 360 wear cap option, the compatibility with MTG's proprietary GET DETECTION system and the integration of a product-specific QR-code.

New all-around wear cap option

In addition to the regular wear caps with protection for the adapter's upper leg, a brand-new wear cap option provides all-around protection for the upper and lower leg. The additional protection of the highly exposed lower area is improving a common rope shovel issue by extending the adapter's wear life, reducing the risk of breakages, and avoiding unplanned downtime. The 360 wear cap has been especially designed for the penetration adapter and is a cost-efficient way of adding wear protection.

Compatible with GET DETECTION

VEEMET ROPE SHOVELS is ready to be equipped with MTG's GET DETECTION system. Real-time monitoring and immediate alarms in case of a GET detachment provide maximum safety, reduce unplanned downtime, and increase productivity.

Up-to-date product information at your fingertips

With a QR-code on every VEEMET ROPE SHOVEL tooth, all up-to-date information is always and everywhere available at your fingertips. Simply scan the QR-code and access the product specific service materials about welding, assembly, etc.
