Naranjo, a 15-year veteran of sales and channel management for both software and hardware solutions, will support NLT’s cap lamps and digital tracking and communication system lines via its distributor partners in Central and South America and Quebec.
“We were looking for someone with market development experience in the Americas that could support the accelerated growth of our business,” NLT president Heidi Levitt said.
“We are confident that Miguel's past success in sales will provide us with significant results.”
She said the new team member’s knowledge of both types of solutions would provide a fresh perspective and “a new lens” on the mining industry during an exciting time for the company.
“Our Mine Safety and Health Administration and IECEx-approved cordless cap lamp Polaris has been a huge hit in the mining industry and our Northern Light digital tracking and communications networks are starting to take off globally.
“Miguel's coming in at a great time both for mining and for our company.”
