Flexco introduces cordless belt-cutter

The portable tool is available in two sizes, the CEBC 1 and CEBC 2.

The CEBC1 can cut rubber belts up to 1 inch thick and PVC belts up to 360PIW (63kN/m). The CEBC2 is capable of cutting rubber belts up to 2in thick and PVC belts up to 1140PIW (200kN/m).

The cordless belt-cutters are the latest addition to Flexco’s line, which already includes its electric belt-cutters.

The hand-held cutters are specifically designed to allow users to cut belts easier and faster than before. They also permit longitudinal and angled cuts.

The cutter’s high-speed steel blade produces a smooth, accurate cut, and the blade is protected for worker safety with a spring-loaded blade guard.

“The cordless line of cutters gives this product line even more portability as it is easily moved, whether you are cutting belt in a maintenance shed or on a catwalk,” product manager Patrick Mukushina said.
