The Scalloped Edge design is now offered in larger R5.5 and two R6 sizes in addition to the original and smaller R5 size.

The company said its patented design offered better compression into the belt cover for a lower profile which helped minimize wear on belt-cleaner blades, skirt rubbers and return idlers.

It also offered a viewport simplifying fastener positioning and installation.

The fastener utilizes a self-setting staggered rivet pattern which provides maximum resistance to pullout, even on older worn belts unfit for vulcanizing.

Installation tools include the Flexco Power Driver and MSRT Multiple Rivet Driving Tool. Both are portable tools for installing rivets.

The Flexco F-Series Staple Belt Fastening System is ideal for mining operations where a machine-applied, narrow-looped staple splice is preferred.

The stainless-steel construction provides a long-wearing solution for tough underground mining environments.
