The company is one of just a couple of Cat dealers to claim the distinction and will celebrate the milestone throughout the year with community service projects and special events.

Whayne Supply is consistently ranked as one of the top Cat dealerships in the country, representing several major equipment lines. It also maintains an extensive parts inventory and diverse service capabilities.

“We are privileged to have outstanding, loyal customers and this year we want to take the opportunity to thank them for their continued confidence,” said Monty Boyd, who became president of the company in 2005 after a 25-year tenure with the group.

“As we look to our next 100 years, our commitment will continue. Our company has always delivered quality products, superior support services, and the highest ethical standards…that's a model we plan to continue into our next 100 years.”

Whayne Supply was founded in 1913 by Roy C Whayne Sr, who was the company’s sole employee at the time.

He sold light engines, pumps, wheelbarrows and bicycles before inking a long-term association with Caterpillar in 1925.

Now under Boyd, Whayne has more than 1300 employees and operates 15 facilities in 12 locations across Kentucky and southern Indiana with lines for the mining, construction, agriculture and industrial industries.
