RUD Chains, a supplier of mining chains and connectors for use in AFCs and beam stage loaders, has released an extended range of mining chains into Australia.

The RUD product range now covers all standard sizes of mining chain, from 14x50mm through to 48x152mm.

RUD said all sizes can be supplied in the round steel link configuration, as well as sizes from 38mm to 48mm being available in the flat link style.

RUD's chains are manufactured to the DIN 22252-2 standard, and for applications demanding higher performance the company can supply chains with special qualities including increased breaking strength; higher surface hardness in link crown areas; improved ductility of the chain legs; and higher dynamic strength.

"This enhanced range now enables RUD to provide a wider range of options to our longwall mining customers and further strengthens our already established position in the industry with our performance leading Dominator Flat Mining Connector and the 42x146mm Block Connector," said RUD's Trevor Pembroke.

RUD also offers a range of lifting and lashing points, VIP sling chain systems and tyre protection/traction chains.
