Long-Airdox names China manager

Staff Reporter

Mike Petkovich has been appointed international sales and marketing manager - China by Long- Airdox Company, the Blacksburg, Virginia, based longwall equipment manufacturer.

Petkovich, who joined Long-Airdox in January 1998, retains his current international marketing managerial responsibilities. While focusing on the Chinese market, he will also develop and maintain awareness of existing and potential global markets, their operational conditions and the equipment in use. He will also monitor the competition.

Long-Airdox said Petkovich would ensure its equipment designs met the needs of international markets "in the most feasible and cost effective manner".

"To that end, he will confirm that shipments leaving US manufacturing facilities meet all laws and regulations of the country for which they are bound," the company said.

Long-Airdox is part of the $US6 billion-a-year Marmon Group.
