One of the key outcomes includes providing ground magnetic infill data to cover the northern target zones of the licence area and determining the presence of dolorite dykes in the potential coal sequence.
It also wants to determine the presence and location of any potential fault features that impact coal seam continuity and work out the overall thickness of the Karoo sequence and the disposition of the pre-Karoo basement.
The program is expected to be completed by the end of November, after which Mozambi should be in a position to start drilling.
