Methane exceedances raise alarm

COAL mines that are subject to elevated methane readings in accessible roadways during a barometric change should review ventilation control measures, New South Wales Mine Safety has warned, after multiple methane exceedances were reported at the longwall bleeder monitoring point of a NSW mine.
