The current JORC resource is based on an indicated resource of 228.1Mt and an inferred resource of 172.9Mt.
Linc has already commenced its 2008 exploration program, with the aim of expanding the Chinchilla coal deposits and taking the current 401Mt to a measured resource.
Chief executive Peter Bond said with 401Mt, the Chinchilla project will give Linc more than 60 years of syngas feedstock at a production level of 20,000 barrels per day and has the potential to produce up to 600 million barrels of liquids such as diesel and jet fuel.
