The software allows geological field data to be collected, managed, stored and captured with real-time validation onsite, with input controls to minimise errors at point of entry.

Geobank Mobile is accessible to clients in the field and is supported by touch screen and standard keyboard devices.

Operations manager Steve Bastick said Geobank Mobile had been designed in response to client demands.

“Geobank Mobile has been designed with geology and mining requirements in mind,” he said.

“Our clients have been demanding a site-based solution, which can save them both time and money, without compromising data quality.”

Geobank Mobile has customisable calculated fields, in-built data approval, transfer mechanisms and can be integrated with Micromine’s other software products.

It also supports all global positioning system data and holds the capacity to support additional devices going forwards.

As part of the launch, Micromine is offering clients a 60-day trial to Geobank Mobile and has also developed a package comprising of the software and a range of ruggedised devices.
