Suited to both large and small mining operations and all commodity types, MineSched 5.1 seeks to help mining companies overcome what it describes as the increasing scarcity of skilled mining professionals.
MineSched Schedules can be created from pre-existing models based on a range of mine planning systems and can easily be configured to support the needs of individual operations.
“MineSched’s broad and deep capabilities provide mining companies with the tools required to achieve greater productivity and profitability than they can with manual scheduling,” said product manager Eli Alston.
“The software incorporates proven scheduling algorithms and can output results in a wide variety of formats, including 2D and 3D graphics, worksheet-based reports and Gantt charts, ensuring that schedules can be easily viewed, validated and communicated.”
Taking into account the global nature of the mining industry, the MineSched 5.1 introduces a framework for use in multiple languages, including Chinese, Russian and Spanish, allowing for greater consistency across global mining operations.
MineSched 5.1 draws on successful elements of past products and invokes new ideas and technologies to create a product that suits the needs of the mining industry today.
