Scott Pack, vice-president of sales and marketing, assumes day-to-day responsibilities of the position on an interim basis.

Pack, who joined the company in 2002, has more than 20 years of coal production and sales experience. During the first nine years of his career he worked in various areas of coal mining production supervision and management, primarily with Cannelton, a subsidiary of Amax Coal Industries.

Since 1992 Pack has held increasingly responsible coal sales positions with Cannelton, Consol Energy, and Foundation Coal predecessor, RAG American Coal Holding.
