The CDC said the workshop was designed to increase awareness of types of hearing loss as well as prevention. It will be led by occupational health nurse Janet Ehlers, and electronics engineer Pamela Graydon.
The event will be on October 30 from 3pm-4.15pm (New York time) and will be held entirely online.
No prior registration is necessary, but a limited number of lines will be available.
Organizers recommend all parties log in early, noting that additional dates may be added.
