Propeller's advanced drone surveying analysis technology uses a post-processed kinematic process for surveying and 3D mapping of worksites across the construction, mining and earthworks industries.

The Trinity F90+ drone builds on Quantum's F9 model and has upgraded electric vertical take-off and landing capabilities.

It can fly for up to 90 minutes instead of the usual 60 minutes and includes a broad range of integrated sensors.

To use the products together, surveyors place aeropoints, or smart ground control points, around the worksite then fly the Trinity F90+ drone above to collect survey data.

The data is uploaded to Propeller's cloud-based platform where it is processed and available to use within 24 hours.

Equipping Quantum's Trinity F90+ drone with the PPK technology is expected to improve survey accuracy and cut the normally weeks-long data collection process to just a few hours.

Propeller Aero head of product Richie Hadfield said the clients it worked with were doing cutting-edge work in the construction, earthworks and mining space and already using drone technology to accelerate project timelines, reduce costly rework and create safer environments for their employees.

"Our new partnership with Quantum Systems gives our customers in Europe and around the world even more ways to achieve this increased efficiency and accuracy with the highly advanced F90+ drone," he said.

Quantum Systems co-founder and CEO Florian Seibel said the drone industry had progressed a lot over the last couple of years, along with customer expectations.

"It is no longer reasonable to have customers figure out a complete solution for their needs," he said.

"As a technology company, we listen to our customers and understand their needs and how best to address them."
