Raven Ridge Resources and the US Environmental Protection Agency are hosting the three day conference on coal mine methane development and utilization.

 

Organisers said the conference will cover the range of issues impacting CMM recovery and use including: resource and reserves assessment, optimization of surface and in-mine drilling programs, integration of methane degasification with mining operation, utilization options and end-use markets, important regulatory issues, ownership and project finance.

 

On the third day participants will have the opportunity ofto vist the West Elk Mine in Somerset, Colorado, to view a utilization project.
