Chi, who has also served on the boards of Northwest Mining Association, the US-Mongolia Council (also chair) and the University of Idaho College of Mines Advisory Board, currently leads mining management consulting service CHI Consulting. He also holds the position of president and chairman of Idaho investment and management outfit SELCO.
Chi also previously served as president of the Morrison Knudsen group, during which time he managed mining operations in eight western US states as well as Canada and Mexico. He currently serves on the board of directors for Mibrag and coal producer Westmoreland Resources.
