A graduate of Pace University and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business, Palladino was most recently CEO of e-marketing firm Sharper Agent.
He has previously held the positions of CEO, chief operating officer, chief financial officer, vice-president and consultant for several growing companies, after beginning his career with Arthur Young and Company.
InSeT COO Jay Breeding noted that Palladino brought with him an excellent track record of leading companies into strong, rapid growth – just the direction InSeT was headed.
“It's important for InSeT to have the kind of growth that gets our products into the field so they can begin to save lives," he said.
The company’s flagship product is its communications and tracking system, which combines miniature inertial sensors with a wireless mesh radio network and proprietary software to display and record real-time locations of underground workers.
The device was approved by the US Mine Safety and Health Administration earlier this year.
