UPDATE: Train protester arrested

The Herald Sun reported the man, part of the Rising Tide organisation, had his chains cut by police at 11.40 this morning, about three hours after he stopped an inbound train and instigated the protest.

While the man was placed under arrest by officers there have been no other charges laid against other protesters at the scene.

According to the Herald Sun report train services resumed at 12.03pm and ship loading was not disrupted as a result of the protest.
