Aconex announces senior VP

PROJECT management software provider Aconex has appointed Henry Jones as its senior vice-president for Europe, Middle East and Africa and global accounts.

With more than 20 years of career experience in general management, sales, marketing and business development, Jones will be responsible for the EMEA region and account relationships with international owners and contractors.

“Henry Jones will add breadth and depth to our senior management team as we continue to build the global market footprint of Aconex,” Aconex CEO Leigh Jasper said when announcing the appointment.

“We see untapped market potential for construction management software throughout EMEA and other regions.

“Capital projects are becoming more complex, with higher risk profiles that need to be managed for successful delivery.

“Henry brings a proven track record in sales strategy and execution that will help us win more business regionally and expand our global accounts.”

Jones joins Aconex from Axiom Global, an alternative legal services provider, where he was senior VP and global head of tech and tech services.

Previously, he held the position of senior VP of Axiom’s west region.

Prior to Axiom, Jones was VP of the west region at Satmetrix Systems, a provider of cloud-based enterprise feedback reporting solutions.

At Satmetrix, he helped develop the net promoter score methodology for measuring and improving customer loyalty.

“I’m excited by the opportunity for Aconex to help transform construction and engineering through the application of key technologies,” Jones said.

“The cloud, project-wide collaboration, mobile and building information modelling are improving project efficiency and quality across multiple sectors.
