The consulting division consolidates its Ecologia Environment, Engenium and Intellect Systems subsidiaries into a single business that will operate under the Engenium brand.

The new Engenium will provide environmental, engineering and technology consultancy services to the resource, energy and infrastructure sectors.

The contracting division consolidates the Centrals and Pacer Corporation businesses and will operate under the Centrals name.

Centrals will continue to provide construction, maintenance and remedial services to the resource, energy, defence and infrastructure sectors.

“The consolidation of these businesses marks a major milestone for RDG,” managing director Jeff Brill explained.

“With so many companies under the RDG umbrella it made sense to consolidate them into two divisions in order to streamline our service offering to our clients.

“Our clients will still deal with the same personnel they always have, including the same managers and decision makers. So, in essence, their experience with our business will not change.”

In addition to the consolidation of these businesses, Engenium has appointed Brian De Swardt as managing director.

He replaces Wayne Peel, who has decided to pursue other opportunities after five years at the helm.
