As part of winning the contract, Tutt Bryant’s Muswellbrook branch enacted a plan that guaranteed a number of improvements to key services, its fleet and operational readiness by BHPB’s expected start date.
The company’s ability to act as a one-stop shop, offering further savings and efficiencies to the client, was also a major factor in securing the work.
Tutt Bryant’s plans were welcomed by BHPB with positive feedback given by their supply and operational management for the innovative “outside the box” thinking, a spokesperson for the company said.
“Whilst TBHL&S does not provide general hire services, our sister division Tutt Bryant Hire specialise in this industry,” the spokesperson said.
“In providing a solution for the client, both divisions will work in conjunction with each other providing cranage, heavy haulage and general hire services respectively.
“The one-stop shop method allows for single and seamless booking and administration of hire services for the client, an approach no other applicant was able to provide.”
The value of the contact was not disclosed.
