AN explosion at a west Texas well has killed three workers and injured one other overnight.
Well owner Parsley Energy said its thoughts were with the families of the contractor victims from Odessa-based Mason Well Service.
Safety officials are investigating the blast, which occurred about 50 miles (80km) south of Midland in the shale oil-producing Permian Basin.
