Queensland Deputy Premier Jeff Seeney said he would also address the conference, providing an
update on the Newman government’s efforts to provide the right platform for resource development.
“Also up for discussion will be Queensland’s emerging LNG industry, which is set to start production in 2014-15, the state’s current export coal industry and potential new projects will also come under the microscope,” he said
He said ports and export strategies, Queensland airports, the 2018 Commonwealth Games venue redevelopment and a potential new government precinct will also be up for discussion.
Those on the hunt for new business opportunities are encouraged to attend and register before the early-bird deadline of September 27.
“This conference comes at an important time in the state’s calendar and will give conference-goers the opportunity to hear first-hand how leading resource industry executives view the commercial horizon.”
