MESCA is an Australian Industry Association purely focused on assisting companies with their business development activities. MESCA, with 330+ members and growing, is primarily involved in assisting members in accessing up to date information on mining, mineral processing and energy projects via briefings, updates and leads and referrals.
MESCA, the peak mining suppliers and services organisation for the mining and energy sector, will be a major exhibitor at QME.
Its exhibit at the show will feature at least 20 of its members; Kador Engineering, Multi Skilled Resources, OBM International, Ear-O-Tec, Laser Central, SAM Technology, Skeltons, KSB Pumps, Groutech, Specialised Equipment Design, MATO, Ostwald Bros, i Power, United Fasteners, O'Donnell Griffin, Townsville Engineering Industries, McFee and Crocodile Tyre Sales.
MESCA executive officer David Wallis said the MESCA pavilion at QME will be designed to create a destination for visitors to the show.
“Exhibitions such as QME provide the ideal opportunity for suppliers to the mining industry to gather under the one roof,” Wallis said.
“The MESCA pavilion will enable our members to invite current and potential customers, to an environment that is relaxed and social yet designed to encourage business discussions and networking opportunities.”
Wallis also expects a substantial degree of cooperation between exhibiting MESCA members.
“A key part of MESCA’s role is to facilitate the engagement and exchange of ideas – and we see this as a key strategy with the pavilion,” he said.
“That means that if one supplier is not able to service a particular enquiry its representatives can pass it onto a person who is. It’s about increasing exposure, particularly for our smaller members, letting them take advantage of a larger corporate profile and adding to their value proposition,” said Wallis.
