Foundation makes personnel changes

The Linthicum Heights, Maryland-based company said Tony Robey, previously director, sales services, had been promoted to assistant vice president, sales, responsible for activities related to Foundation's mid-western sales territory. Robey previously held various positions of responsibility with Constellation Energy, including strategic analyst and senior fuels buyer, in addition to various positions held at CSX Transportation.

Patrick Runey has been named assistant vice president, sales, where he will oversee all aspects of sales activities for Foundation's south-eastern territory. Runey comes to Foundation Energy Sales from South Carolina Public Service Authority (Santee Cooper) where he held the position of director, fuel planning and supply. In addition, Runey previously held a variety of positions with Santee Cooper as a fuel buyer and transportation coordinator.

Both Robey and Runey will report to Scott Pack, vice president, sales and marketing.

"These individuals bring a wealth of knowledge and skill to the Foundation sales team,” John Tellmann, president, Foundation Energy Sales, said.

“They will add to the strength and depth of our group as our customer base continues to grow in the Midwest and Southeast regions of the US."

Foundation Coal Holdings is a major US coal producer with 13 coal mines and related facilities in several states including Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Illinois and Wyoming.
