Brisbane-based company Intellection won the accolade after only two years in business.
“We are incredibly proud to receive this honour and be recognised for our product development and exploration of new markets internationally,” said company CEO Calvin Treacy.
“This award reinforces our commitment to total solutions for mineral analysis. We are confident it will be one of many to come.”
Intellection is the global leader in the automated quantitative evaluation of minerals, rocks and man-made materials (mineralogy), using their own developed QEMSCAN technology (incorporating a scanning electron microscope).
This technology has a number of application areas, and is being used in the mining exploration, oil & gas, forensic geoscience, coal and environmental sectors.
The award recognises Queensland companies that have succeeded in a demanding, highly competitive and mature market such as the United Kingdom.
The Australian British Chamber of Commerce was established in 1910 to encourage and support bilateral trade between Australia and the UK.
