Jennmar backs roof support capabilities

The new manufacturing facility in Earlington, Kentucky will consist of a 53,000 square foot building and office to be located on 23 acres.

The company said the facility would better serve western Kentucky, Indiana and the Southern Illinois coal basin. Jennmar expects the new facility to be operating by early 2007.

Jennmar will also construct a new manufacturing facility in Pounding Mill, Virginia. This facility will consist of a 51,000 square foot building and office to be located on 20 acres, and will be adjacent to Jennmar’s roof control plant.

It will manufacture corrugated metal products and other steel related roof control products for the mining and construction industry. Jennmar expects the new facility to be operating by early summer 2007.

Giving Jennmar presence in Pennsylvania is the company’s newest affiliate, J-Lok, located in Cresson.

J-Lok, which began production in June of 2006, boasts an ultra-modern and state-of-the-art facility which is computer controlled to ensure reproducible insertion and setting times for all J-Lok cartridges and all of Jennmar’s roof control products.

J-Lok is producing resin products to complement Jennmar’s present and future products.

J-Lok agents are located in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky and Utah.
