FloLevel Technologies’ level interface transmitter can accurately measure solutions consisting of two densities.
The level interface transmitter tracks liquid to liquid interface, liquid to paste interface and liquid to granular interface.
According to FloLevel the device is a high-powered ultrasonic self-cleaning transmitter that is not affected by the conductivity and dielectric nature of the solution.
The pulse amplitude is great enough to cause a phenomenon called “rarefaction”, which causes cavitation to be produced from the array transducer diaphragms as they pulse.
The cavitation bubbles oscillate in front of the diaphragm, causing implosions that generate high energy levels.
FloLevel Technologies owner and inventor Robert Stirling said the FloLevel system was easy to install to the top of the flotation cell and easy to calibrate.
It comes with an adjustable stainless steel bracket with flange mounting options and a colour display controller mounted in a stainless steel enclosure.
The sensors can measure all types of flotation cells with a maximum control range of 6400mm.
Resolution accuracy options available are 15mm and 25mm.
There are various output options too, including Modbus, Profibus, FieldBus and Ethernet.
