According to Today’s Zaman, 36-year-old Metin Keskin was severely injured after getting stuck between unspecified construction equipment and “an iron pole” at the Eynez coal mine on Tuesday.
He was reportedly rushed to the Soma State Hospital where he later died.
A total of 301 miners died in the Soma mining disaster in Manisa, which was started by a gas explosion on May 13.
The blast occurred during a shift change with 787 workers underground at the time.
