Cade is going to take up the general counsel position with a Fortune 1000 public company.

Gates will report directly to Suncoke CEO Fritz Henderson who only recently took on additional responsibilities as part of the “flattening” of the company’s management structure.

Additionaly, John DiRocco has been promoted to the position of vice-president, assistant general counsel and corporate secretary.

Cade joined Suncoke in 2013 as senior health, environment and safety counsel. She was promoted to vice-president and assistant general counsel in 2014.
