The company says the solution can reduce tool replacement costs, while increasing productivity.
“When managed properly, the tool crib is an integral component of a job site, especially at larger sites or those in remote locations,” Snap-on business development director Dale Alberts said.
“The challenge faced by customers is that they lose control over their tool inventory as soon as that crib hits the ground. No one knows what tools are available, who’s using them or if they’ve been returned.”
The Solution’s Level 5 Tool Control System also works with safety programs by tracking the calibration and certification.
The mobile tool cribs can be purchased, rented or leased.
