An MST spokesperson told International Longwall News the partnership would help the company get into the American mining market.
MST provides a range of communications equipment, including network switches, digital 802.11 wireless systems, on-vehicle data logging devices and leaky feeder systems, as well as its Integrated Communications Cap Lamps.
The technology can also be used for applications such as tracking, tagging, vehicle intelligence and automation.
“We are very much looking forward to working with I&E and benefiting from their long heritage of quality service and support to Nevada’s mines,” MST chief executive officer Lloyd Zenari said.
“I&E are unequalled in their depth and breadth of electrical services, and we see great potential in bringing our companies’ portfolios together.”
