Sadie Davidson

They will be held in Denver, Colorado and Charleston.

The NMA said the workshops were designed to result in a thorough understanding of risk management, and risk-assessment principles and terminology.

Attendees will participate in mining-specific exercises to familiarise themselves with applying risk-assessment tools.

Industry peers will be on hand to discuss how these techniques had been applied at their operations to identify, assess and manage risk.

NMA said: “The workshops will have application across organisations as the tools and techniques apply broadly to the array of risks, from enterprise-wide to site and task specific, that companies encounter”
