IMARC is set down for September 22-26 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
BHP Billiton president corporate affairs Tony Cudmore will also be taking part in a panel discussion on the second day of IMARC, which will be moderated by Minerals Council of Australia CEO Brendan Pearson.
The topic of the discussion will be: “The role of mining in global sustainable development: from environmental stewardship and community engagement to resourcing a sustainable future”
Cudmore will join the panel discussion with other senior resources industry executives including MMG CEO Andrew Michelmore; Newmont Asia Pacific regional senior vice president Carlos Santa Cruz; Orica managing director Ian Smith; Iluka Resources general manager innovation, technology and sustainability Rob Hattingh; and Fortescue Metals Group CEO Nev Power.
