A group of nannas and their supporters staged a knit-in outside the office of Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall.
They hoped a peaceful protest would show the local community was against the NSW government’s position on CSG and supporting the action against mining in the northwest.
They said they had chosen to stage the knit-in outside Marshall’s office after feeling ignored by other government members.
Marshall told local media, he was yet to come into contact with the group, but would be more than happy to hear their concerns.
